As a big fan of spa centers, I wish to visit as many as possible in Serbia. In this way, I want to prove that Serbia has a high-quality wellness center that provides quality service and is luxurious. I discovered Wellness & Spa Fruske Terme through an internet advertisement. We visited it in September during the working week when it is less crowded.
Wellness & Spa Fruske Terme is located above the Vrdnik Spa and within the Fruske Residence complex. This wellness complex, which covers an area of over 10,000 m2, offers six outdoor pools, three slides for all ages, four indoor pools, six types of saunas, tepidariums, steam baths, two relaxation rooms with water beds, and much more. Within the center, there is an outside bar and a restaurant.
Reservation of the wellness package
To visit this wellness center, you need to make a reservation by emailing [email protected] or calling +38163 475 944. You can choose from the water world, sauna world, or premium wellness packages. We decided on the premium wellness package to visit all the spa center’s contents.
In addition to the standard packages, there is the option of a half-day ticket from 4 p.m. every weekday. This ticket costs 2 thousand Serbian dinars and is only valid for external pools.
A reservation is required to access the premium part of the wellness Center during the weekend. When making a reservation, you will be asked whether the person is of legal age. Children have access to the water world, and children above 14 years of age have access to the spa. Access to the premium spa wellness is only for adults.
How to get to Fruska Terme?
Fruske Terme is 88 km from Belgrade. You can park in the closed garage located 100m from the entrance. The first half hour is free, while each subsequent hour is 100 Serbian dinars. If the car is parked for more than 6 hours, a daily ticket costs 1000 Serbian dinars. The ticket is paid through the machine at the exit.
Easy and efficient access to all the spa center contents
At the Fruske Terme entrance, you pay the entrance fee and receive a bracelet and accessories, depending on which wellness package you have booked. If you book a premium wellness package, you will receive a blue bracelet with which you have access to all wellness content. This is one of the big pluses for the better organization of spa center users. At each entrance for some spa content, you have screens where you place your bracelet to unlock the entrance gate.
The advantage of this bracelet is that you can easily unlock the locker for things and mark your orders in a bar or restaurant. You pay the bills later at the spa center’s exit. In addition to the bracelet, you also get a bathrobe and a towel. The surcharge for the use of premium wellness for hotel guests is 1000 Serbian dinars.
Spa center content
After passing the lockers and changing rooms, you enter the area with an indoor pool with several massagers. The water in all pools is thermal, at around 33 degrees. The water height is around 140cm. The hygiene of the pool and its surroundings is high. As you pass through all the floors, you have the option of taking water in a cup from the machine.
The first part of the spa facilities, which includes several types of saunas and tepidariums, is located on the ground floor. During our entire visit, the center was almost empty, so we had the opportunity to explore all its contents unhindered.
The saunas’ temperatures range from 60 to 110 degrees. In front, there are showers for refreshment and water from the apparatus. There are many chairs where you can rest or temporarily store things. This time, I found it interesting little things make a visit great.

If you want to rest, you can stay in a relaxation room with water beds. It’s a strange feeling, but a short rest after a couple of hours of swimming around the pool was suitable.
After you pass through the sauna facilities, on the first floor, there is an indoor nude spa area, Adam and Eva.
On the same floor, in the area for the general public, two small swimming pools have a view of the outdoors part.
Like every spa center, this one has the possibility of booking a massage and access to the gym.
Premium Spa Wellness
Users of the premium wellness package have the option of using the restaurant and VIP spa access on the second floor. The restaurant has a more elegant look and, I assume, higher prices. The VIP spa area includes a pool with massagers and a view, saunas, and a room with water beds. Personally, I liked this part mostly because it is not easily accessible, the pool is nice, and the windows are glass.
There is also access to the terrace, from which you can view the outdoor area with the pools.
Outside, there are six swimming pools, one of which has a glass wall. There are water slides for all ages and a pool for small children. Deckchairs and umbrellas are throughout the whole area.
You can order food and drinks from the outside bar. The outside bar is in a central place. The food selection is modest, with pizza, burgers, and fries. The prices are not too high. This is the only part of the wellness center where they should take into account the control of insects during the summer season. Bins for disposing of food scraps are open and without lids. During our visit to the bar, it was more difficult to choose a place to sit because of the wasps that were everywhere.
In the outer part, there is also a relaxation area with canopies and deckchairs for rest, separated from the pool. Most people were in the outer part because it was a summer day.
Impressions about the spa center
After visiting the Wellness & Spa Fruske Terme, I am extremely satisfied, considering my experiences at other spas. We spent about six hours in the spa center, which was enough for us to rest and explore all its contents. If you want to enjoy the day in a clean environment with spa facilities, this wellness center is the right place.
